Celebrating World Nursery Rhyme Week in EYFS!

We’re delighted to share that our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) has been embracing the joy of stories and songs during World Nursery Rhyme Week! This fun-filled week has been an incredible opportunity for our little learners to explore the magic of nursery rhymes, enhancing their language skills, creativity, and social interaction.

Throughout the week, our classrooms have been buzzing with laughter, rhythm, and song. Each day, children have immersed themselves in popular nursery rhymes, participating in activities that include:

• Creative Storytelling: Our little ones transformed their favourite rhymes into vibrant stories, encouraging their imaginations to flourish. 

• Interactive Rhythm Games: They enjoyed clapping, dancing, and singing along to the beats, developing vital listening skills and coordination. 

• Art and Craft: The children made beautiful artwork inspired by their favourite characters, bringing nursery rhymes to life in delightful ways!It’s heartwarming to witness our children’s excitement as they engage with these timeless tales. We believe in the power of nursery rhymes to lay a strong foundation for literacy and foster a lifelong love for reading.
