Welcome to Brownmead Primary Academy. We are proud to lead this family orientated school which is located in the heart of Shard End. We are a school that strives to achieve excellence in all that we do.

We are part of Washwood Heath Multi-Academy Trust.  This relationship is the cornerstone to the further development of Brownmead Primary Academy.

Our school ethos is built around our Brownmead Values which were written by pupils, staff and advocates to provide a framework through which everyone who comes into our school, can buy into and succeed. Our school motto is 'Empowering Futures.'  Our vision is 'empowering futures by developing aspirational, respectful, life-long learners who make a difference.'  Our motto and vision are embodied by our AIM values - Achieve, Inspire and Motivate along with our behaviour values of 'Ready, Respectful and Safe.'

We strive to ensure that we have a school community that empowers all of our learners.  The hard work from staff and the relationships with our families give us the opportunity to provide a high-quality education for all children who cross the Brownmead threshold.  

We aim to create an environment in which we all develop and grow together educationally and emotionally; providing a range of enrichment opportunities, to support the teaching and learning for all.  Brownmead is a popular school in the locality.
