Early Help and The Waiting Room

At Brownmead Academy, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing of every child and family. Sometimes families may need a little extra support with issues such as behaviour, attendance, emotional wellbeing, parenting, finances or other challenges that can affect family life.

Early Help is a way of identifying and providing support as soon as concerns arise, helping to prevent small difficulties from becoming bigger problems. By working together with families and other professionals, we can help children thrive both at home and at school.

The Waiting Room is our online hub of support and advice for families. It provides access to useful information, local services, guidance and resources that can help with a wide range of family needs. Whether you are looking for practical advice or additional support, The Waiting Room can help connect you with the right information at the right time.
