Creative Connections

As a school, we are very privileged to be part of the Creative Connections group.  It is a group that consists of 7 schools across Birmingham who come together to take part in various projects. Each year, there is a theme for the projects and a curriculum focus, which could be Art, Design and Technology, Music or Drama. Creative Connections has also formed linked with lots of talented professionals in these different areas and we are able to use these connections to allow the children to have sessions led by experts in their area. In previous years, children have worked with artists at the IKON Gallery, actors from the National Theatre, musicians from the CBSO and more! At the end of each project, there is a showcase of the work that the children have produced and an opportunity for parents and families to get involved and see their child’s work.
