Head Teacher's Welcome

Welcome to Brownmead Academy. We are proud to lead this family orientated school. A school that strives to achieve excellence.

We are proud to be part of Washwood Heath Multi-Academy Trust.  This relationship is the cornerstone to further development at Brownmead Academy.

Our school ethos is built around our Brownmead Values which were written by pupils, staff and advocates to provide a framework through which everyone who comes into our school, can buy into and succeed. Our mission is to ensure that we have a school community that empowers and inspires all. The hard work from staff and the relationships with our families give us the opportunity to provide a high-quality education for all children who cross the Brownmead threshold. This popular school is always fully subscribed and that is testament to its popularity locally.

We aim to create an environment in which we all develop and grow together educationally and emotionally; providing a range of enrichment opportunities, to support the teaching and learning for all.

Our doors are always open, and the team would be delighted to welcome any further enquiries you may have.  Please do get in touch with us by telephone on: 0121 675 3102 or by email on

We look forward to meeting you soon.
