Year 6 STEM Adventure: Mad Museum & Butterfly Farm

This week, our Year 6 pupils embarked on an exciting STEM trip to the Mad Museum and the enchanting Butterfly Farm! They had the incredible opportunity to explore the wonders of science and nature, igniting their curiosity and passion for learning.
At the Mad Museum, students marvelled at the innovative exhibits that showcased engineering marvels and the principles of physics in action. Our budding scientists engaged in thought-provoking activities, unleashing their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Next, they ventured to the Butterfly Farm, where they were captivated by the vibrant colours and delicate beauty of the butterflies. Here, they learned about metamorphosis, ecosystems, and the vital role these creatures play in our environment. The hands-on experience allowed them to connect classroom learning with the natural world, reinforcing their understanding of science in a fun and interactive way.
A massive thank you to the staff and volunteers at both locations for making this trip so memorable and informative!
