Year 1 visit Black Country Museum: Exploring School Days!

We had an amazing day when Year 1 visited the Black Country Museum as part of their exciting school days topic!

Our young historians stepped back in time to experience what school was like in the olden days. From chalkboards and inkwells to traditional desks, they immersed themselves in the rich history of education.

The children were buzzing with curiosity as they explored the authentic Victorian schoolroom and discovered how different school life was back then. They even got to dress up in traditional school attire - bonnets and flat caps galore!

It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and appreciation for how education has evolved over the years. A huge thank you to all the staff and volunteers at the Black Country Museum for making this trip so memorable!
